My passion for cooking began as a young boy, on quiet Sunday mornings while cooking beside my father. I knew at a very young age that this was the path that called my name. In the process of creating that special meal for my family, I understood the unique connection between food and people. Food brings people together, it is universal. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, I worked in some of the top rated restaurants in New Jersey. I eventually moved to Manhattan and quickly secured the position of Executive Chef at the nationally renowned Balducci’s, an Italian gourmet specialty retail store. This part of my journey began in 2000 and I have been Executive Chef in New York City since. My dream is to bring all of my experience and enthusiasm about cooking to Monmouth County. My goal has always been to establish a top rated retail market, specializing in prepared foods as well as catering. I am so excited to do this here – the place I call home. The home I share with family and friends.
My commitment to producing fine food may only be exceeded by my pledge to assure the highest level of customer service. In addition to being present at the market and catering jobs, I feel an important obligation to surround myself with a knowledgeable and courteous staff, all with the intention of enhancing each customer’s culinary experience at Balderose Fine Foods.
Being an active member of the community is also extremely important to me. Balderose Fine Foods is committed to making a positive impact in the area and working with organizations that include City Harvest and the Lunch Break in an effort to alleviate hunger in Monmouth County.
